Conference

Yes I know its been a while since Conference (it is a thing my Religion does every six months). But I have had time to let everything sink in. For the talks to really hit me. I mean I LOVE all the talks but there were some that really hit home to me. Some that made my heart sore, my heart ache and my mind to really think of what is important.

#1 Sister's of our church are so strong and very united in a way that is only spiritual. I dont know what I would have done with out the love and support of the Relief Society and the many Young Women leaders who warmed my soul every Sunday. For the Women who came into my life either through School or through my Boyfriends who told me how to be better and made me want to be better. Then for obvious reasons my Mother and sisters (in laws included). They support me give me the endurance I need to keep on going and doing better.

#2 Elder Uchtdorf Said many things that made my heart just burst with joy. But here are a few of his things he said ( I got these from the LDS.org site)

Why Should We Love God?
He needs us to love Him. His power and glory are not diminished should we disregard, deny, or even defile His name. His influence and dominion extend through time and space independent of our acceptance, approval, or admiration.

Why Does Heavenly Father Love Us?
He loves us because He is filled with an infinite measure of holy, pure, and indescribable love. We are important to God not because of our résumé but because we are His children. He loves every one of us, even those who are flawed, rejected, awkward, sorrowful, or broken. God’s love is so great that He loves even the proud, the selfish, the arrogant, and the wicked.

How Can We Increase Our Love of God?
We increase our love for our Heavenly Father and demonstrate that love by aligning our thoughts and actions with God’s word.

How Can We Hear the Father’s Voice?
As we draw near to Heavenly Father, we become more holy. And as we become more holy, we will overcome disbelief and our souls will be filled with His blessed light. As we align our lives with this supernal light, it leads us out of darkness and toward greater light. This greater light leads to the unspeakable ministerings of the Holy Spirit, and the veil between heaven and earth can become thin

Why Is Love the Great Commandment?
Heavenly Father’s love for His children is the core message of the plan of happiness, which plan is made active through the Atonement of Jesus Christ—the greatest expression of love the world has ever known.16
How clearly the Savior spoke when He said that every other commandment hangs upon the principle of love.17 If we do not neglect the great laws—if we truly learn to love our Heavenly Father and our fellowman with all our heart, soul, and mind—all else will fall into place.
The divine love of God turns ordinary acts into extraordinary service. Divine love is the motive that transports simple words into sacred scripture. Divine love is the factor that transforms reluctant compliance with God’s commandments into blessed dedication and consecration.
Love is the guiding light that illuminates the disciple’s path and fills our daily walk with life, meaning, and wonder.
Love is the measure of our faith, the inspiration for our obedience, and the true altitude of our discipleship.
Love is the way of the disciple.
I testify that God is in His heaven. He lives. He knows and loves you. He is mindful of you. He hears your prayers and knows the desires of your heart. He is filled with infinite love for you.
My heart was so full. SO wanting to just go and find my savior to go unto him and give him a hug and thank him for so many things.

#3. Elder Anderson talk so so embracing. I could hear that talk over and over again. I love to hear about how much these men love God and how much they love us. As humans we are always looking at what is fault and not what is true. What we can become because we are always dragged down by Satan to lead us into this deep dark dispare. But his talk enlightened me. I cannot just cut and paste what I loved. SO Please please go here if you have not heard or read his talk.

As for the rest there was Elder Oaks powerful talk, Elder Holland, Elder packer, And Elder Neilson.
And if you have not read or heard the Priesthood session you should *if you have boys* Go to Elder Choi

I know in my heart that these things are so true. That God does speak to us and gives us directions. We just need to have knowledge and kneel in prayer to know. I know these things. In the name of Jesus Christ Amen.
