First off I want to thank all of you for your prayers and thoughts this year. They were definitely felt as we went through some hard times. Thanks to all of those who have been so sweet and kind to our family and for letting us be your friends. As the year comes to an end there have been times when we felt so blessed that it is impossible to pay everyone back. So thanks, and we love all of you. We have been in the ER/ Hospital multiple times this year. Twice for me and Once for Danni.
Papa bear- Seth (29): He has been working so hard this year. He loves his job and has had a pretty good year with his company. He has been to three conferences and produced a new product for his company. In October at one of his conferences in Los Angeles he gave a presentation about this product. It is called "Apodora". It is an open source thing, and it has helped his company a lot. I am so proud of him. He has been such a great guy and has had to put up with a lot this year. He is a great dad who plays with his kids and has a love for them that is just real.
Mama bear- Karla (27): She has been dealing with health issues all year long, but they haven't kept her down. She's had a breast reduction surgery, galbladder removal surgery, dizzy spells, and recently a severe bladder/kidney infection. Even with all that she's been a busy bee and always has to be doing something. This year she's taken up beading, and makes lots of jewelry. She keeps the kids in line, even though they almost drive her nuts, but she's always taking them places and helping them to experience new things. Due partially to her surgeries and mostly to her strong determination she's lost quite a bit of weight this year. She has a strong spirit, and an unrivaled love for life. Her kids and husband love her their lives completely revolve around her.
Brother bear 1- Ethan (6): Started first grade and is LOVING it. He is reading, writing, and doing Math. It's just so amazing how much a child can learn in just a few months. He loves his teacher, Mrs. Byrd, and just thinks the world of her. He has been into making crafts, and doing things for others this year. He has even fed his friends food when they are hungry (sometimes with our permission), but he is so loving and kind. He has started to play the piano. Seth is teaching him as much as he knows, and then we will send him to lessons. He likes playing and is eager to know more and play more daily. He is a kid with a big heart. His migraines have gone down so that is a blessing in itself.
Brother bear 2- Logan (5): What an active boy. He loves Transformers a lot. I think we have seen the movie more than I want to. We almost have it memorized. He likes to "fight" and pretend that he is a ninja all the time. He started pre-school and has a hard time with it. He thinks the world of his dad and thinks that he is superman. He loves to play tickle wars. He loves his baby sister and protects her. What a great little guy and full of smiles and laughter.
Brother bear 3- Truman (3): He is our little sweet heart. He is full of hugs and kisses when ever they are needed. He loves to still cuddle with mom and that is great. Songs are his thing. He is always singing a song his latest hit is "peanut butter and jelly" (a really cute song). He has a "buddy" named Brianna, his cousin, whom he adores and thinks highly of. His newest thing is dancing in circles till he falls to the floor laughing.
Sister bear- Dannan (14 mo): She is our baby girl. We cant believe she is already one, walking, and talking. She is signing words like bath, water, all done, and i love you. She is such an adventurous gal (with her brothers who could blame her). She is always looking for them and wanting to be with them. She is a hoot when it comes to play time. When she starts to get left out she will yell and let them know that she is still there and wants to be part of the action. She is still a total girl though, and loves shoes, dresses, and pink. I found her baby dolly two days ago and she has been carrying it all day long. She loves her baby dolly. She gives it kisses and lovies and just is so cute with her baby. She is loved by all, and she adores Logan and her dad the most.

I have a six year old Logan!
Sorry to hear about your less than stellar year. It happens. Theres been entire years that were so awful I kind of blacked them out. I'm 33 now and I now know that the scriptures and the cliches you hear are right. Once you live through trials and adversity you become stronger and as you age you are more adept to take on any challenge life throws at you.
I toast to 2008 being a banner year for you guys.
Omgsh, I can't believe I found you on my friend Natalie's page! That's awesome!! Hit me back, okay?? Love ya!
